You’re in the right place.
Book your free call and mention your consultant or SLT. With your permission, I’ll liaise with them so your rehabilitation fits alongside your medical care.

Michael- vocal dysphonia
How I work
Your voice doesn't live in isolation, so neither does your treatment. I bring several disciplines together and shape them around you.
Voice Retraining
Rebuilding healthy technique step by step, with a clear explanation of why each exercise helps.
Hands-on therapy
Whole body massage, acupressure, and advanced manual therapy for voice to release body-wide problems.
Mind & Voice
Counselling skills and mindfulness for the performance anxiety that often comes with a voice problem, and brain-training for success.
The whole you, not just your larynx.
I look at work, home life, lifestyle, mental and physical health, conscious skills and unconscious habits. Together we build a voicing budget and an exercise routine you can actually keep. But more than that, we go deep, to the root cause of your voice problem.

Help with the cost of treatment
If you’re a professional musician or actor or someone in the performing arts who relies on their voice for their work, you may be able to get funding for treatment through BAPAM, Help Musicians or the Royal Society for Musicians. I see many clients through them and can guide you through the process on our call and, if appropriate, write a referral as part of our initial assessment.
Questions
Do I need a referral?
No, you can book directly. If you haven’t already seen an ENT about a persistent throat problem, I may suggest you see one.
Is this instead of medical treatment?
No, I work alongside your ENT & SLT, not replacing them. Although there is some overlap, my particular expertise is in optimising vocal efficiency and performance training.
How many sessions will I need?
Every voice is different and so is each pathway to recovery. We’ll plan it together after our initial assessment and I’ll tell you honestly what to expect.
Where do sessions take place?
Either at my studio in Helensburgh on the west coast of Scotland, or online.
How much will it cost??
The initial assessment is £125. Full prices are on the Prices and Booking page.
